Sanjay is Chief Digital Strategist at Genpact, Venture Partner at Masagroup Ventures and runs a think tank: the Executive Technology Board.

Masagroup Ventures incubates, advises and invests in emerging technology startups in the AI and data space. The Executive Technology Board is a think tank of C-level technology leaders across the world's largest global enterprises.
Previously, Sanjay was a CDO, tech startup CEO, and large enterprise GM. As CDO, Sanjay led Genpact’s business in AI, Data, Automation, and Technology services, and built the AI-based platform, Cora. Before that, as a serial entrepreneur, Sanjay built four successful startups in Silicon Valley - in edge networking, data center automation, predictive algorithmic software, and enterprise SaaS - that were each subsequently acquired by Akamai, BMC, FIS, and Genpact, respectively. He also held operating leadership roles at Hewlett Packard (now HPE), Akamai, and SunGard (now FIS), overseeing product and services P&Ls. He started his career building compute servers for HP.
Sanjay guest-lectures on Data, AI and Digital Transformation at UC Berkeley, Wharton, Kellogg, IIM and IIT; sits on the Deans Advisory Council for the College of Science and Engineering at Seattle University and is on the faculty at NEXT, World50. Additionally, Sanjay mentors startup CEOs at Intel Ignite in Tel Aviv, and the Creative Destruction Lab at UW, Seattle; and is recognized as IDG Top 10 Digital Transformation Influencer to Follow; the “23 CTOs of 2023”, and the ORBIE Large Enterprise CIO. Sanjay also serves on the MMA CDO Board, is a member of the Digital 50, BCG’s Digital Transformation Network, and CNBC’s Technology Executive Council.
Sanjay earned his graduate degree at the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis and his undergraduate degree at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur and studied at the executive education programs at Kellogg and Stanford. Sanjay blogs regularly at /digitally.
